Who: 3900(+) employees of 48 (and growing) sponsor
employers and their families; established by educators in 1947;
all employees and members of their families and households are eligible
for membership.
What: A cooperative organization of savers and
borrowers who share a common employer; chartered, supervised and
insured by the federal government and subject to federal examination
of its records and policies at least once a year; now holding $20
million in assets with about 13 volunteers and 7 paid staff members.
When: : Our Credit Union is open Monday through Friday 9:00 AM – 4:30
PM; Extended hours Thursday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday
9 AM – Noon. Members receive “live in person”
service (no voice mail) by telephone (716-634-3881) during business
hours and 24-hour account information service by telephone using
Teller-24 (716-634-2025) or our Homebanking site. Cash withdrawals can be made at nearly
any ATM (see back of card for available networks). Deposits, other than cash, can be mailed to
our office. Please be sure to indicate your account number and any
other pertinent information. (Please be sure to request a receipt
if one is needed).
Loan application for new borrowers – apply in person for
a 10-minute interview. Experienced borrowers may apply by phone,
fax, mail, or right here on our convenient website. Same day loan
approval for qualified members is generally available upon request.
Where: At 6470 Main Street, Suite 5, Amherst, NY 14221 in the Office
Park of Williamsville on the north side of Main Street between Youngs
and Transit Roads, opposite Limestone Drive. Our credit union is
near Erie Community College. Look for the sign indicating the Office
Park of Williamsville which is visible from the road.
Why: To provide a place for members to save and
to borrow at attractive rates, where service is our main business;
we're also a good source of financial advice and direction where
the convenience of payroll deduction and direct deposit for loans
and savings is easy to manage. Your credit union is a fringe benefit
